Job Summary
Update promotional templates for news and sports productions, then post daily content across Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram pages. Publish approved stories on YouTube and execute other duties as assigned. This internship supports Blue Ridge TV-13 in promoting its news, sports, and live programming through social media channels.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current student pursuing a degree in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management and/or Communications
- Established residency in Pennsylvania
- Valid PA Driver's License and good driving record
- Strong background in media communications, copywriting and visual design
- Understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, Twitter/X and Meta) and scheduling tools
- Proficency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and Photoshop)
- Flexibility to work between PC and Mac work stations
- Possess creativity and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently on projects and present them to Social Media Manager for review
