Job Summary
Pitch trends and ideas, set up prints on Formlabs printers, film the process, edit high-energy videos, and distribute them across social channels. Own end-to-end video production from concept to publish while operating independently on quick-turn stories. Showcase physical parts and engineering projects to resonate with engineers, artists, and makers. Support reporting and analytics to measure content performance and refine strategies for reach and engagement. Spot real-time social trends and viral audio to translate them into relevant Formlabs content. Fall 2026 internship, onsite in Somerville, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with video editing software (Premiere, DaVinci, Final Cut, etc.)
- knack for creating engaging video content
- Understanding of digital platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Self-starter mindset
- Comfortable taking an idea from concept to finished export on your own
- Adaptability
- Ability to balance multiple deadlines
- Full-time commitment (40 hours/week)
- Onsite location in Somerville, MA (in-person)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with 3D design/CAD or 3D printing
- An eye for spotting incredible technical applications
- Ability to turn technical applications into compelling narratives that balance fun, humor, and professionalism
