Job Summary

Develop, implement, and manage social media content strategies aligned with broadcasting goals, creating and publishing engaging material across Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging digital channels. Collaborate with producers, editors, and reporters to promote broadcast programming and special events, while managing calendars to ensure timely delivery supporting news and audience engagement objectives. Monitor trends and platform developments to identify reach opportunities, adapting and translating content between English and Korean as assigned. Contribute to production elements of radio, TV, and web programs, including fine editing of taped material and static or motion graphics, while editing and approving copy from others for broadcast inclusion. Meet VOA standards for productivity, quality, and deadlines, logging data in the digital asset management system. Works independently or as a team member, making suggestions for policy and workflow improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in target language (Korean) (written, spoken)
  • deep knowledge of the target area
  • ability to adapt stories into English as assigned
  • Meets VOA standards for productivity, quality, and meeting deadlines
  • Works independently or as a member of a team
