Job Summary
Write and edit blog posts for the Ciena corporate blog and develop content for organic social media channels. Maintain editorial calendars, coordinate production schedules, and optimize assets for SEO and AI-powered search using performance insights. Monitor search visibility and engagement metrics to identify optimization opportunities. Partner with marketing teams and subject matter experts to create customer-focused content supporting campaigns, product launches, and thought leadership initiatives. Collaborate with regional teams to develop and localize content aligned with global priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Digital Media, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, communications, or a related field
- Ability to communicate technical concepts through writing, editing, and proofreading activities
- Experience creating content for blogs, websites, social media, and other digital marketing channels
- Application of SEO fundamentals and interest in AI-powered search and content optimization
- Utilization of content management systems, SEO tools, or web analytics platforms
