Job Summary
Own social video projects from pitch to publish by pitching trends, setting up prints on Formlabs machines, filming processes, editing high-energy content, and distributing across channels. Operate independently on quick-turn stories while collaborating with the broader social media team to support marketing initiatives. Showcase physical parts and engineering projects in compelling visual ways that resonate with makers, engineers, and doctors. Support reporting and analytics to measure content performance and refine strategies for reach and engagement. Spot real-time social trends and viral audio to translate them into relevant Formlabs content. Fall 2026, onsite in Somerville, MA, full-time 40 hours/week.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with video editing software (Premiere, DaVinci, Final Cut, etc.)
- knack for creating engaging video content
- Understanding of digital platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Self-starter mindset
- Comfortable taking an idea from concept to finished export on your own
- Adaptability
- Ability to balance multiple deadlines
- Onsite in Somerville, MA (in-person)
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Internship Term: Fall 2026 (September 14 through December 18, 2026)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with 3D design/CAD or 3D printing
- An eye for spotting incredible technical applications
