Job Summary
Social Media Content Creator & Manager role for The Plumbing Authority in Knoxville, TN. Responsibilities include creating engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms; filming and editing short-form video; developing content calendars and posting schedules; writing captions; capturing photos/videos of technicians, projects, events, and customer stories; visiting residential and commercial job sites and local events for content; attending company and community events to generate content; visiting local businesses in Knoxville for opportunities; conducting interviews with team members, customers, and partners; monitoring engagement and responding to comments/messages; tracking performance and providing growth recommendations; staying current on social media trends; collaborating with management to promote initiatives and culture; and contributing to brand awareness, audience growth, and lead generation. Requirements include experience creating content for social media, strong video editing skills, platform best-practices knowledge, storytelling ability, ability to work independently, and travel within the Knoxville area. Education should include enrollment in a college program or completed Associate's or Bachelor's degree; part-time or internship start with potential to grow to full-time; hybrid schedule with some on-site work in Knoxville, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Experience creating content for social media platforms
- Strong video editing skills
- Understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube best practices
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Photography, videography, and graphic design experience is a plus
- Marketing, communications, or related field preferred but not required
- Must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical program, or have completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Knoxville area to capture content
