Job Summary
Manage three branded Reddit accounts by creating and publishing 2–3 posts weekly, engaging with users, and monitoring relevant conversations. Research trending topics, develop tailored strategies for each brand, and partner with an external contractor on content planning and monthly reporting. Track activity to identify engagement opportunities while adhering to brand guidelines. This role supports Golden Pet Brands' mission to extend pets' lives through community-driven social media efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Reddit, its communities, and platform etiquette
- Familiarity with current online and social media trends
- Ability to identify relevant conversations and respond quickly with brand-appropriate content
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with internal teams and external partners
Desired Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Active Reddit user with knowledge of how different communities operate
- Previous experience managing or growing social media accounts for a brand, company, organization, or campus group
- Experience creating content and engaging with online communities across social media platforms
- Interest in social media, community management, or digital marketing
- Understanding of Reddit's growing role in AI search and online discovery
