Job Summary
The Social Media and Communications Intern will assist in managing Autism Society of Georgia’s online social communities by coordinating content development, scheduling, and publishing. Responsibilities include creating social media strategies, maintaining a promotional calendar, evaluating marketing efforts, and generating metrics reports. Candidates should possess effective communication skills, a background in marketing or related fields, and experience with various social media platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Must either be enrolled in college/university leading to the achievement of a degree or completed undergraduate degree
- Effective communication skills
- Passion for marketing, strategy and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
Desired Qualifications
- Background/studies in Marketing, Communication or other related discipline
- Experience with social media and web – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, Instagram, etc.
