Job Summary
Social Media Strategist/Analyst role focused on building Consuela’s organic presence across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok with storytelling-driven content. Responsible for developing platform-specific strategies, managing content calendars, collaborating with Creative/Brand/Marketing teams, and driving audience growth and engagement through algorithm-friendly content. Responsibilities include concepting and producing social-first content (photos, videos, Reels, TikToks), writing engaging copy, staying ahead of trends, monitoring community interactions, and leveraging data and insights to optimize performance. The role requires strong storytelling ability, a deep understanding of social platform dynamics, and comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment, with onsite presence in Austin, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience managing and growing organic social media channels for a consumer-facing brand
- Proven success creating high-performing content on Instagram and TikTok specifically
- Deep understanding of social media algorithms, platform behaviors, and engagement drivers
- Strong creative eye with experience capturing and editing social-first photo and video content
- Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills with an ability to adapt tone across platforms and audiences
- Strong understanding of internet culture, trends, creators, and evolving social behaviors
- Highly organized with strong project management and cross-functional communication skills
- Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on content execution
- Experience working in fast-paced, growth-stage environments with evolving priorities
- Passion for fashion, art, storytelling, hospitality, and creating meaningful brand experiences
- Experience using social media management, analytics, and content editing tools preferred
