Job Summary
Volunteer or intern to support Good News Home for Women by managing social media and providing administrative assistance. Responsibilities include creating and scheduling posts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other channels; using AI tools to aid content creation, design, and analytics; updating and organizing administrative documents (Employee Handbook, SOP Manual, Residents' Manual); supporting HR and outreach with data entry, document formatting, and communications; collaborating with staff to maintain consistent branding and messaging. Flexible hours with remote or hybrid arrangements and periodic in-person meetings in Flemington, NJ. This unpaid opportunity is ideal for students or professionals seeking nonprofit experience and mentorship in nonprofit communications and administration.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Experience in social media management
- Administrative tasks experience
- Familiarity with AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Canva AI, ChatGPT)
- Strong writing, organization, and communication skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently
