Job Summary
Lead for our social housing consultancy division, working with the Managing Director to advise organisations on becoming Registered Providers. Responsibilities include guiding and supporting RP applications, coordinating RP registration projects, offering consultancy on writing and structuring RP applications, drafting or reviewing policies aligned with RSH guidelines, researching RP registration regulations, supporting clients in improving unsuccessful applications, collaborating with the bid team for QA and advisory work, and contributing to grants and public-contract bids; role includes training in QA and processes, with flexible delivery as the division grows.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in social housing
- A housing related degree (desirable) or other qualification such as from the CIH
- A demonstrable knowledge of the regulatory standards for social housing
- An understanding of Supported/Specialised Supported Housing
- A drive to develop and grow our service
- Prior experience or knowledge of the RP Registration (desirable)
- Project management
- Excellent written and verbal communication (English)
- Document production (MS Word and PowerPoint) competence
- Leading client liaison and customer service skills
- Social housing knowledge (essential), particularly regarding rent setting and governance experience or knowledge (desirable)
