Job Summary
Serve as a representative for Volo at facilities and bars, updating league scores in our user interface and promoting events via social media and on-field selling. Help distribute marketing materials, set up and take down fields or bar areas, and use the host app to check in players as needed. Encourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the league while making players feel welcome and building relationships with bartenders. Execute fundraising activities to support kids' programs and ensure all participants meet and feel comfortable. This part-time role requires evening and weekend availability from 5:30pm-10:30pm and 9:00am-3:30pm respectively, with a minimum commitment of eight weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends
- Must be available for a minimum of eight weeks
- Weekday availability from 5:30pm-10:30pm
- Weekend availability between 9:00am - 3:30pm
- Be Outgoing
- Interest in sports and social activities
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Works well in a team atmosphere
- Ability to multi-task and make decisions under pressure
- Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds
- Possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly
- Proficient customer service skills
- High School Diploma /GED Equivalency
