Social Emotional Learning Interventionist

Job Summary
Conduct student, family, and school assessments to identify needs affecting learning and implement academic and behavior intervention plans. Provide psycho-social assessment and diagnosis of behavior disabilities with recommendations for school, home, and community environments. Serve as a liaison between school, family, and community resources while making referrals to public or private agencies. Participate in case conferences, Individual Education Plan (IEP) processes, and Child Study Process. Deliver in-service training on guidance programs, conflict resolution, and self-awareness. Maintain student records systems according to state and federal regulations and complete required personnel activity reports.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Demonstrated competence in all areas of focus
- Exemplary work habits verified by reference check
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Social work case reporting and writing experience
- Ability to counsel students, parents, and staff, individually and in groups
- Knowledge and skills of the IEP process
- Knowledge and skills working with students from all backgrounds
- Excellent verbal and written expression using proper grammar and vocabulary
- Strong interpersonal skills
