Social Care Workers - Permanent

Social Care Workers needed in Sligo, Ireland for Direct Medics in partnership with Trinity Support & Care Services. This is a permanent full-time role with a 24/7 rotational shift roster. Responsibilities include providing person-centred, day-to-day support; promoting independence, dignity, privacy and human rights; assisting with personal care and daily living activities; creating a safe, clean environment; encouraging social inclusion and community participation; supporting individuals to achieve personal goals; following positive behaviour support approaches; maintaining care records and reports; administering medication safely; adhering to safeguarding, infection control and food hygiene standards; and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. Requirements: Third Level Qualification or equivalent in Social Care or related discipline and/or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role; CORU registration (or evidence of application) where required; experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour; right to work in ROI without visa sponsorship.
