Job Summary
SEW Mentor is a part-time role (Sept–May) conducting individual and group mentoring to students using CHADS Coalition’s Social Emotional Learning curriculum in assigned school buildings. Responsibilities include communicating regularly with school personnel and families; administering, collecting, and submitting SEW data per program policy; maintaining records as required by funder or agency; ensuring SEW programs are implemented to fidelity and meet quality standards; attending agency and program staff meetings; maintaining 75% impactful hours; completing tasks assigned by the Program Manager. Qualifications require a bachelor’s degree in mental health or related field and 1–3 years’ experience with elementary/middle school students and parents, plus experience in promoting social and emotional learning; strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and live video conferencing; reliable transportation. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mental health or related field
- 1–3 years’ experience working with elementary or middle school students and parents
- 1–3 years’ experience and understanding in promoting social and emotional learning
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must have access to reliable transportation
