Job Summary
The primary function of a Sport Coordinator is supporting the volunteer coaches on a week-to-week basis; may serve as a coach when needed. Duties include assisting with setting up practice areas and fields, obtaining equipment from the Site Manager, supporting coaches, ensuring games start on time, enforcing i9 Sports rules to maintain a fun, safe learning environment, keeping time and score during games, and maintaining a positive, professional relationship with staff and participants.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
