Job Summary
Define and develop SoC power management architecture to optimize performance, efficiency, and thermal behavior for next-generation client and AI computing platforms. Maintain a system-level perspective to ensure alignment between product goals, constraints, and implementation while evaluating design trade-offs and defining feature requirements. Drive power integration strategies across new and existing IP blocks and partner with hardware and software teams to ensure successful execution, validation, and enablement. Analyze post-silicon power/performance data to identify optimization opportunities and contribute to debug, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts throughout the full product lifecycle from concept to high-volume manufacturing. This role focuses on delivering scalable solutions within the Silicon Architecture team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience
- Master's degree
- 10+ years of experience
- PhD
- 6+ years of experience
- Expertise in SoC architecture and development methodologies
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, microarchitecture fundamentals, and SoC architecture fundamentals
- Proficiency in architecture definition and feature definition
- Hands-on experience with architecture registers specification and SoC performance modeling and analysis
- Demonstrated ability to apply disciplined execution and problem-solving methodologies in complex projects
- On-site presence
