Job Summary
Monitor live CCTV surveillance systems for suspicious activity across multiple client sites and track on-duty security officer movements via GuardConnect. Serve as the central communication hub by maintaining radio contact with field personnel and dispatching security officers or law enforcement to incidents and alarms in real-time. Immediately escalate high-risk events to supervisors, document all responses in activity logs, and act as the primary point of contact for clients during the shift. This full-time, on-site role operates Monday through Friday from 2PM to 10PM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in criminal justice or related field
- Prior experience in a command center, dispatch, or security control room environment
- Proficient in CCTV monitoring software, radio communication procedures, and incident reporting systems
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations with excellent situational awareness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fixed schedule from 2PM to 10PM, Monday through Friday
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and maintain focus on multiple screens
- Must be able to respond to emergency situations outside of regular hours as needed
