Job Summary
Oversee guest safety while in the waterpark, maintain a valid lifeguard license with Jeff Ellis and Associates, and assist in maintaining cleanliness. Attend monthly in-service training as required and contribute to guest satisfaction. Work efficiently while handling multiple duties and following all resort policies and standard operating procedures. This role requires the ability to act independently, handle stressful situations, and swim proficiently to rescue others. Candidates must be comfortable working on elevated structures such as slide towers and possess good grooming habits. The position involves working in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and at risk of UV radiation.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain lifeguard License with Jeff Ellis and Associates
- Ability to swim proficiently to rescue others
- Comfortable working on elevated structures, such as slide towers
- Must be at least 15 years of age for Shallow Guard, and 16 years of age for Special Facilities guard
- Ability to act independently with little supervision
- Efficiently handle multiple duties
- Requires a good understanding of company policies and procedures
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Good attendance and punctual
- Exhibits professionalism
- Exhibits good grooming habits
- Wears the proper uniform
- Works efficiently
- Follows all resort and office policies and standard operating procedures
