Job Summary

Inspect each ride and attraction before opening, water test every pool system, and document results including slide pressures, temperatures, and filtration status. Perform preventative maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and painting disciplines, while repairing tubes, rafts, and flow boards. Clean acid and chlorine feed lines, backwash filters, and remove leaves or snow as directed. Respond to radio calls regarding park problems, prioritize by urgency, and maintain communication with Aquatic Management staff. Adhere strictly to OSHA, EPA, and company safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and proper PPE use. Maintain a clean work environment and document all completed tasks in work logs.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid Tennessee Driver's License or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to be covered by and maintain company insurance
  • Certified Pool Operator certificate
  • Aquatic Facilities Operator certificate
  • Ability to act independently with little supervision
  • Efficiently handle multiple duties
  • Requires a good understanding of company policies and procedures
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Good attendance and punctual
  • Exhibits professionalism
  • Exhibits good grooming habits
  • Wears the proper uniform
  • Works efficiently
  • Follows all resort and office policies and standard operating procedures
