Job Summary
Identify, develop, and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients by conducting thorough financial needs analyses to understand their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and long-term goals. Propose and implement tailored wealth management solutions including unit trusts, structured products, equities, insurance, and lending. Monitor client portfolios regularly to provide performance reviews and recommend adjustments as market conditions change. Proactively engage with clients to cross-sell and upsell a full range of UOB products and services while ensuring full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. Collaborate with product specialists, legal, and compliance teams to deliver holistic solutions and achieve individual sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a similar client-facing role within the financial services industry
- Proven track record of acquiring and managing high-net-worth client relationships
- Strong understanding of investment products, insurance solutions, and financial planning principles
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical conduct
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Desired Qualifications
- Possession of relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CMFAS Module 6A, 6, 6B)
- Ability to communicate in other languages (e.g., Mandarin)
