Job Summary
The Snubbing Assistant supports Snubbing Operator at the well site by handling snubbing unit operations, including connecting hydraulic hoses, startup of equipment, and engaging the prime mover and hydraulic pumps. Responsibilities include assisting with rig-up/rig-down operations, equipment loading, maintenance, inspections (pre/post-job), and safe operation of snubbing units and related controls. Must communicate work instructions effectively, follow safety practices, and be able to work a varied schedule and travel as required. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver license (CDL a plus), and at least 1 year of snubbing or workover rig experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, ability to operate in all weather conditions, physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs, basic math and writing skills, and English communication preference.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- Must have a valid, active state-issued Driver License; CDL a plus.
- A minimum of one (1) year snubbing experience and/or workover rig experience; prior work experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance a plus
