SNP RV&V Systems Engineer

Job Summary
Lead and/or support SNP requirements and verification products and ensure compliance during development, testing and evaluation of SNP components. Provide technical integration with other engineering disciplines, SNP Program, and cross-program elements, including risk-based oversight through assessment of requirements and verification activities. Support the SNP Lead Systems Engineer and Engineering Discipline Lead Engineers in evaluating prime contractor deliverables and verification objectives. Perform systems engineering tasks to support SNP Program milestones, develop integrated schedules, implement Digital Engineering practices, and provide V&V planning, execution, and integration for system-level requirements. Communicate technical issues, risks, best practices and lessons learned to stakeholders, and develop schedules and tracking mechanisms for systems engineering tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field from an ABET-accredited institution
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in systems engineering and integration, launch vehicle definition, functional design, design integration, launch vehicle performance analysis, flight evaluation planning, requirements verification, and/or requirements validation
