Job Summary
Teach skiing lessons to students of all abilities in a positive, safe, and professional manner, demonstrating contemporary skills and PSIA methodology concepts. Convey area and community information to guests while accurately maintaining documentation for teaching hours, attendance, and risk management. Demonstrate good judgment, reliability, and clear communication with parents, supervisors, and coworkers to set up an environment prioritizing safety and learning. Work collaboratively with fellow employees and independently with groups of students, maintaining a clean locker room and complying with Bridger Bowl policies.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification from PSIA or International Equivalent
- The ability to ski from assigned stations to the base area while demonstrating maneuvers to students throughout the duration of a lesson for up to 6 hours per day
- Experience providing excellent customer service
- Ability to communicate clear instructions and safety information to students
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to understand and communicate in English with adequate proficiency
