Job Summary
SNF Patient Transporter / Driver for Sandstone Estates (full-time). Responsible for transporting guests to outside appointments in a safe, prompt manner within Tucson, AZ. Duties include maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety, performing regular inspections, and communicating clearly with guests, physicians, and staff. Must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid drivers license with a safe driving record, CPR certification within 30 days (or ability to obtain), Fingerprint Clearance Card, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an exemption. Requires at least 1 year of customer service experience in hospitality or healthcare and 1 year of professional driving experience (preferred). Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, relate information about a patient s condition, and work harmoniously with others while upholding safety and proper use of facility vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license
- Safe driving record in accordance with state requirements
- CPR certification within 30 days of hire or ability to obtain
- Fingerprint Clearance Card (FCN)
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualifying exemption
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in hospitality or healthcare environment
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (preferred)
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to relate positively with physicians, guests, and staff
- Ability to perform regular vehicle inspections and maintain appearance of vehicles
- Ability to follow instructions and work harmoniously with others
- Must be able to relate information concerning a patient s condition
