Job Summary
Develop daily activity programs tailored to residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs, including group social events, arts and crafts, music, exercise, and spiritual activities. Collaborate with families, nursing staff, and other departments to coordinate programs, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and document attendance and outcomes. Create and post monthly calendars in large print to encourage resident participation and involvement in planning. Motivate residents to engage in one-on-one attention, room visits, and community interactions while maintaining organization and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English

- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- High school graduate
- Must be organized

- Must be able to set and achieve goals
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, nursing staff and all departments
- Ability to develop goals
