Job Summary
Lead and design an age-appropriate sneaker design curriculum; teach major design elements, sketching to final mock-ups, and how to apply principles to concept development and marketing strategies. Foster a safe, collaborative classroom; assess and provide feedback on student work; manage attendance and progress reports; communicate with parents and coordinators; ensure materials setup and storage. Build in opportunities to integrate sneaker design with art and marketing, including branding and presenting designs to potential customers or investors. Emphasize historical trends, color theory, materials, and the creative process from concept to production; apply marketing knowledge to help students market their designs. Strong instructional, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and content/marketing knowledge required.
