Job Summary
Production Team Members (PTM’s) are responsible for adhering to standardized work instructions to ensure the quality and quantity of production across various processes including molding, assembling, painting, and chrome work. Duties include operating machinery, tracking production and defects, maintaining safety standards, and preparing materials for workflow. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, or have relevant manufacturing experience. The role demands physical ability to perform various manual tasks, including heavy lifting, in a potentially hazardous environment. Candidates will be required to communicate effectively and solve basic problems in a standardized work setting.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and recognize similar words and numbers
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers
- Ability to communicate in simple written and verbal form
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to detailed written/visual or oral instructions
- Ability to lift and carry between 20 to 100 pounds
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must pass job-related assessments including drug screening and fit-for-duty tests
- Hazardous material handling certifications required for assigned duties
