Job Summary
Lead the SMT rework team in a high-mix RF electronics manufacturing environment. Combine hands-on technical repair with leadership to ensure product quality, throughput, and schedule adherence. Manage complex SMT and through-hole rework (BGA/QFN/QFP) on RF assemblies, interpret schematics and ECOs, support failure analysis with QA/Engineering, ensure IPC/J-STD-001 and ESD compliance, and drive continuous improvement through Lean/5S and defect-reduction initiatives. Maintain repair records, monitor aging jobs and repair metrics, and support audits and customer inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced electronics technician with strong SMT/BGA rework capability
- Leadership presence and experience
- Ability to balance production demands with quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience interpreting schematics, assembly drawings, BOMs, ECOs, and work instructions
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and ESD standards
- Ability to track repair metrics and document repairs in ERP/MES systems
- Collaborative work with Quality and Engineering for root cause analysis and continuous improvement
