SMT Process Engineer II

Establish processes and process control for SMT lines and related post-SMT operations while collecting data to drive decisions based on established production metrics. Monitor processes to ensure they remain in control, troubleshoot floor issues including SMT, THT, and selective solder problems, and identify bottlenecks to devise solutions. Work with machine vendors for technical support and collaborate with Quality to monitor scrap, rework, and other metrics for continuous improvement. Advise Manufacturing Engineering teams on floor plan designs and layouts to support infrastructure improvements. May periodically assist in orienting, training, and checking the work of other employees.
