Job Summary
SMT Operator responsible for setup and operation of SMT production equipment to assemble PCBs and sub-assemblies. Follow Assembly Plans, Engineering Drawings, sketches, and verbal directions using hand tools and machines. Ensure quality and productivity by monitoring equipment, inspecting solder paste and component alignment, loading feeders, interpreting the SMT Machine Schedule, and maintaining accurate manufacturing/quality documentation. Requires high school or equivalent education, good reading/listening/communication skills, and physical dexterity for assembly tasks. Shift: 2nd shift M-Th 3pm-12am and Fri 12pm-6pm in Bourne, MA.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Some evidence of aptitude for precise assembly from written instructions and verbal direction
- Experience operating Mycronic SMT Machines
- Soldering experience is desired but not required
