Job Summary
Lead trade compliance initiatives across EAR/ITAR/EU Dual-Use etc., classification of products (HS/ECCN), manage export licensing, develop and maintain compliance policies, and serve as a senior SME. Drive audits, cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations, and contribute to digitalization/automation initiatives to improve data quality and process efficiency. Reports to Head of Trade Compliance; location flexible between ADC (US) or EDC (Netherlands); hybrid working arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Law, Logistics or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Trade Compliance, export controls, customs, or a related area
- Strong knowledge of global trade regulations
- Experience with classification, sanctions screening, and licensing
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Proven ability to handle complex topics and stakeholder interactions in a global environment
- A collaborative mindset and ability to influence stakeholders across functions and regions
- Interest in digital tools, automation, and data-driven ways of working
