Job Summary
Prepare smoothies, bowls, juices, and other menu items according to Baya Bar standards and recipes while taking customer orders and operating the POS system to process payments accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary food preparation area by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed. Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations when handling food and communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure timely service. This role supports daily restaurant operations within a fast-paced environment in Staten Island, NY, requiring availability for flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, hospitality, or retail preferred, but not required.
- Food Handler's Certificate/License preferred, but not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare smoothies, bowls, juices, and other menu items accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to follow recipes, food preparation procedures, and food safety guidelines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple customer orders.
- Ability to operate a POS system and process customer payments accurately.
