Job Summary
SMO - Penicillin Sterile Manufacturing Operator on 2nd shift (3:00p.m.-11:30p.m.) at Pfizer. Performs tasks across the manufacturing workflow per Batch Card, SOPs, and job aids, including inspecting filled syringes for defects, manual packaging, stocking supplies, and reporting unusual defects to ensure product quality. Maintains clean work area, participates in training, adheres to cGMP and safety regulations, and supports team deliverables under supervision. Role requires lifting and standing for extended periods, ability to work in a penicillin facility, and willingness to work overtime as needed. Requires High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience and strong problem-solving, math, reading skills, plus good communication and leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience
- Understanding basic problem-solving methods, mathematics, and reading skills
- Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Batch Record comprehension
- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Penicillin allergy (must be able to pass allergy testing)
