Job Summary
Lead UX design strategy and standardization for DoD enterprise data and analytic products; translate complex requirements into scalable UI/UX solutions; conduct user research, create personas and journey maps, and oversee wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs; collaborate with UI engineers, software developers, and stakeholders within Agile/DevSecOps environments; establish and maintain design systems and accessibility compliance (Section 508); contribute to product planning and SAFe ceremonies while driving adoption and usability improvements for mission-critical enterprise platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Human Factors, Psychology, Design, or related discipline and 12–15 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and 10–13 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in UX design, human-factors engineering, or related field and proficiency with UX design tools
- Extensive experience designing user experiences for complex applications or enterprise platforms
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and workflow analysis
- Experience with UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar)
- Experience working within Agile or DevSecOps environments
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams
- Experience in developing and implementing customer success plans
- Proven experience with Section 508 accessibility standards
- Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical skills and experience with user and customer analytics
- Active TS/SCI clearance (preferred)
- Experience supporting UX design for data platforms, analytics tools, or AI/ML systems (preferred)
- Experience designing for multi-enclave or secure environments (preferred)
- Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) to support design implementation (preferred)
- Experience developing and maintaining enterprise design systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile or SAFe environments (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating UX design work across complex systems (preferred)
- Experience in service portfolio and service catalog management (preferred)
- Experience designing within classified or multi-security enclave environments (preferred)
- Knowledge of FINOPS and cost/benefit analysis for service investments (preferred)
- Experience in designing and maintaining knowledge management systems (preferred)
- Experience with AI/ML tools and services (preferred)
