SME-TECH/OPERATOR I (CMV-22 Airframes)

Job Summary
Design, develop, and test training solutions for CMV-22 Airframe systems while serving as a Subject Matter Expert for technicians and operators. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to analyze, build desktop software, virtual/augmented reality simulators, and training devices, providing technical guidance through all development phases. Troubleshoot systems, determine suitable replacements for components, and verify functional and physical fidelity of simulated hardware. Develop training curriculum, present courseware to customers, and perform Contractor Preliminary and Final Inspections. Assist in device assembly, manage Government Furnished Equipment inventory, and ensure compliance with ITAR and security classifications. Travel to support data capture, device recovery, and delivery efforts, working standard hours with occasional overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Four (4) years of experience directly related to the area of expertise in the maintenance or operation of systems and subsystems for the project assigned
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance when required by the contract
- Four years' experience with CMV-22 Airframe System
- Must be available to work a standard weekly schedule with overtime as required
- Must be able to climb, lift, push, pull, and stand for long periods of time in hot or cold conditions
- Must be able to travel in support of data capture, device recovery, testing, and delivery
- Must interact professionally with military, government, and foreign personnel using the proper courtesies while observing the correct customs
- Must be able to read, navigate, and interpret applicable technical manuals and engineering drawings
- Ability to analyze and interpret instructions and standards
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved Military Instructor Training Program
- Candidates with prior CDI/CDQAR/QAR qualifications
