Job Summary
As a Subject Matter Expert in Secondary Engineering for Energy and Infrastructure Projects, the role involves leading and executing activities across high-impact infrastructure projects, including AIS/GIS substations and Battery Energy Storage Systems. Responsibilities include developing specifications, BOMs, and coordinated designs, resolving vendor bid and design issues, and providing expert guidance in control, protection, SCADA, and automation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in power systems, proficiency in CAD software, and relevant engineering certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) certification
- Exposure to ETAP and SEL tools
- Strong skills in CAD software including AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Solid understanding of power systems and their application in substation environments
