Job Summary
Subject Matter Expert (SME) Instructor for General Security training, heavily focused on developing and delivering the General Security Curriculum. Responsibilities include instructing, serving as course manager for courses/products, preparing classrooms, managing student accounts, performing course maintenance, supporting ADDIE processes, reviewing and updating training materials, and providing SME responses to inquiries. Requires active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, a Bachelor’s degree (or five years of instructor experience in adult learning in DoD Security Policy in lieu of degree), and a minimum of 2 years’ General Security experience. Role is hybrid with one onsite day per week in Linthicum, MD. Salary range is $50,125 to $185,650 and includes benefits and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Current Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of education from an accredited university
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the General Security field
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, five years of instructor experience for adult learners in DoD Security Policy
- Experience in General Security
- Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
