Job Summary
SME II – Technology Capabilities role supporting the OUSD, based in Washington, DC. Provides knowledge and expertise in a specific subject/technical area for a project or program; defines procedures or standards, recommends improvements, and develops performance objectives. Responsible for ensuring accuracy of details, communicating context and rules, validating requirements/deliverables, and guiding others on content quality. Includes input for design/testing documents, user documentation, and training materials; interacts with project team to resolve issues within the area of expertise. Emphasizes experience across DoD/DoW environments, DOTMLPF-P framework, analytical methods, modeling/simulation, and SAP-related activities; requires TS/SCI clearance and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in web design, computer science, mathematics, or engineering
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI
- Fifteen (15) years’ technical experience in a field related to developmental/operational testing, systems engineering, or operations analysis
- Ten (10) years’ experience planning and conducting analytical studies and experimentation to validate system design, specifications, and performance
- Ten (10) years’ experience utilizing high-fidelity modeling environments
- Ten (10) years’ experience developing analysis within DOTMLPF-P framework
- Ten (10) years’ applying quantitative and qualitative analytical methods
- Five (5) years’ experience supporting SAP projects
- TS/SCI clearance
