Job Summary
Research and discover software vulnerabilities across platforms, reverse engineer binaries to identify weaknesses and bypass mechanisms, and support the design, development, and debugging of user-land and kernel-level systems. Lead technical efforts on projects, maintain proficiency in static and dynamic analysis tools, and communicate findings and risks to leadership. Mentor junior staff and guide team development while contributing to CNO capability development. This role requires a current TS/SCI with Polygraph and at least seven years of directly relevant experience in vulnerability research or cyber operations. Located in Hanover, MD, the position offers a salary range of $179,300 to $318,400 annually. Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current and active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience
- High school diploma and 16+ years of experience
- Associate degree and 14+ years of experience
- Master's degree and 10+ years of experience
- PhD and 8+ years of experience
- At least 7 years of directly relevant experience in vulnerability research or related cyber operations
- Experience conducting vulnerability research
- Experience with reverse engineering and common security research tools, such as: IDA Pro, Ghidra, Radare, Binary Ninja, Sysinternals, GDB, WinDBG
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, C/C++, Assembly (x86/x64)
- Experience in CNO capability development
- Strong understanding of low-level internals in one or more of the following areas: Windows, Linux, Mobile platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time
- Must be able to communicate effectively via email, phone, and virtual platforms, including presenting information when needed
