SMB Account Manager

Job Summary
SMB Account Manager responsible for nurturing relationships with a multi-stage merchant portfolio, understanding customer needs to achieve business goals with Square products, and cross- and upselling features. You will collaborate with Sales, Support and Product teams to ensure best-in-class merchant experiences, grow and retain a multi-million dollar GPV customer base, and actively manage a sales pipeline to meet revenue targets. A remote-first role with preference for a city-based presence in the UK; prior experience in account management or sales within fintech/payments, SaaS or merchant services, and familiarity with Salesforce are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 3 years experience in Sales/Account Management or a related field
- Experience discovering and closing sales opportunities and building client relationships
- Experience successfully managing a pipeline to achieve revenue targets
- Strong interest in business operations and strategy
- Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Passion and knowledge about how new technologies can help better serve small and medium size businesses
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- A BA/BS or relevant experience
