Job Summary
Raken is seeking an SMB Account Executive to close SaaS deals in the construction space, handling the full sales cycle from lead nurturing to closing. The role is near San Diego, CA in a hybrid on-site with occasional remote capacity. Responsibilities include engaging inbound/outbound leads, conducting product demonstrations, account management, CRM updates, responding to customer questions, and meeting/exceeding sales targets. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of sales (SaaS) experience, familiarity with Salesforce or other CRMs, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, PTO, holidays, continuing education, and a modern office setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- SaaS experience in either an AE or SDR role
- Salesforce and/or other CRM tools experience, along with Zoom, Gmail and Slack experience
- Experience within the Construction Industry preferred
- Smart, ambitious, willing to learn and coachable
- Customer-centric sales style - focused on helping and creating value for customer
- Team-oriented, but competitive nature
- Strong writing & communication skills
- Self-starter and problem solver
- Reliability and organization
