Job Summary

Senior Vice President, Advertising & Sponsorship Sales to drive revenue across SmartPoint I/O’s DOOH venue network. The role is a hands-on seller who will also build and lead a sales function over time, focusing on advertising inventory, sponsorship packages, and brand activation opportunities across motorsports venues, airports, convention centers, and other high-traffic properties. Responsibilities include owning an outbound sales process, developing a go-to-market strategy for digital signage and sponsorships, managing a robust CRM-driven pipeline, creating proposals and media kits, cultivating relationships with agencies and brand marketers, collaborating with leadership to price new inventory, presenting to private equity investors and senior stakeholders, negotiating contracts with advertising partners, providing market intelligence, and transitioning into a player-coach leadership role as the team grows. Key qualifications include 7–15 years in advertising/sponsorship/media sales (OOH/DOOH preferred), proven revenue generation, experience selling in live-event environments, strong executive presence, willingness to travel, and deep understanding of the DOOH ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

  • 7–15 years of experience in advertising sales, sponsorship sales, or media sales (preference for OOH/DOOH)
  • proven track record of net-new revenue generation
  • experience selling sponsorship and advertising packages in high-traffic live event environments (stadiums, arenas, racetracks, airports, convention centers)
  • ability to travel as needed to venue locations, client meetings, and industry events
  • execut executive presence and communication skills to engage PE investors, C-suite clients, and venue ownership groups
  • experience with programmatic buying, audience measurement, and media planning
  • ability to transition into a player-coach leadership role as the sales team grows
  • strong business development, proposal development, and negotiation skills
