Job Summary
Lead and manage a high-volume Tech Engineer design team (10–15 members) within ADT, conducting in-home consultative walk-throughs to identify security and smart-home needs, guiding installation and onboarding, and driving growth through self-generated leads and referrals. Responsibilities include hands-on coaching and development of TEs to meet sales and operational KPIs, recruiting and onboarding new hires, training programs to upskill the team, maintaining strong customer relationships, and delivering high-quality installations and tailored smart-home automations. Must be entrepreneurial, data-driven, and able to mentor a customer-focused team while coordinating with local sales leadership to achieve targets and ensure a world-class customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent related experience
- 3 to 5 years of people leadership experience
- direct experience managing customer-facing team members in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
- excellent interpersonal & communications skills
- consultative selling / educating customers on products and services
