Job Summary
The Smart Factory Operator I operates and maintains the Trumpf TruBend Press Brake and related machinery to supply door and parts production. Responsibilities include running equipment, forming parts to specifications, performing parts analysis for producibility/time studies, sample part production, handling custom orders and prototypes, and supporting the production team with equipment operation, cleaning, and maintenance. Duties also cover performing dimensional inspections, reporting defective materials, inspecting finished parts for quality, remaking parts not to specification, collaborating with management to resolve product quality issues, reviewing weekly schedules to ensure on-time delivery, upholding safe work practices, and following Standard Operating Procedures. The role emphasizes attention to detail, accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies.,
Required Qualifications
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Ability to plan and execute multiple projects at one time
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- Knowledgeable in fabrication
