Small Tools Mechanic

Job Summary
Perform service and maintenance of small gas, diesel, and electric powered hand tools; maintain tools in good working order; keep records of hour meter readings for power equipment at the assigned location; complete and record all scheduled servicing; report to the small tools superintendent on inspections and problems; overhaul small gas and diesel engines; report oil spills; train on use and maintenance of new tools; and adhere to OSHA/MSHA safety policies while working on-site at Douglassville, PA. The role involves overtime and outdoor work with travel up to 2 hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR 2 years of related experience and/or training
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills able to learn and use different software’s
- Ability to use mechanics hand and power tools
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
