Job Summary
Small Provider Billing Unit role in West Sacramento, CA (Hybrid). Recruit qualified providers to participate in the Small Provider Billing and Training program; instruct providers on how to successfully bill the Medi-Cal program; review and correct provider’s claim before adjudication; provide telephone support to enrolled providers. Requires a minimum of one year experience and two or more years of customer service, with knowledge of healthcare billing and familiarity with Medi-Cal and Microsoft Office. Must live within 35 miles of West Sacramento, CA; salary range $31,200–$44,500 per year. Includes benefits and growth opportunities within an equal-opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Two or more years of customer service.
- Knowledgeable about healthcare billing and medical claim forms, preferably Medi-Cal.
- Experience in providing verbal instructions to customers.
- Experience working with and skilled in Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel
