Job Summary
Coordinate, set up and maintain small bindery machines and equipment across catalogs, commercial print, and educational materials; operate and troubleshoot bindery devices (Mailer, Dot Wac, Polybag, Drills, Shanklin, Shrink Wrap Machine, Folders, Spiral Binding) to meet customer quality requirements, while leveraging paid training and cross-training to advance skills in electrical/mechanical systems, pneumatics/hydraulics, and PLC exposure; lead and collaborate with supervisors to adhere to safety procedures, meet production goals (make readies, speeds, waste, efficiencies), and support 12-hour night-shift operations with overtime potential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible in fulfilling obligations.
- Must be able to troubleshoot when machine malfunction
- Must work well with others.
- Must be flexible and open to change when needed.
- Must have the ability to follow instructions.
- Must be proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pound
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
- The ability 12 hour shifts
