Job Summary
Coordinate, set up and maintain small bindery machines and equipment. Machine operation includes the coordination and the Mailer, Dot Wac, use of the Polybag, Drills, Shanklin, Shrink Wrap Machine and Folders, Spiral Binding in the Bindery Department which are used to complete Bindery Operations and fulfill customer orders to quality specifications. ESSENTIALS: Demonstrate knowledge of bindery specifications; perform make readies on listed equipment; adhere to safety procedures; uphold safe lifting techniques; show leadership and interpersonal skills; read and understand job tickets and related documentation; coordinate with supervisors for daily schedules; meet or exceed goals on make readies, speeds, waste and efficiencies; operate tools and equipment; operate a power industrial hand truck; monitor operations for malfunctions and maintenance needs; perform routine maintenance; other duties as assigned by management. Required Qualifications
- Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible in fulfilling obligations.
- Must be able to troubleshoot when machine malfunction
- Must work well with others.
- Must be flexible and open to change when needed.
- Must have the ability to follow instructions.
- Must be proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pound
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
- The ability 12 hour shifts
