Small Machine Operator

Coordinate, set up and maintain small bindery machines and equipment. Operate and monitor bindery operations including the Mailer, Dot Wac, Polybag, Drills, Shanklin, Shrink Wrap Machine, and Folders within the Bindery Department to fulfill customer orders to quality specifications. Demonstrate knowledge of bindery specifications, perform make readies on listed equipment, and comply with safety procedures. Exercise leadership and interpersonal skills, read and understand job tickets and related documentation, and coordinate with supervisors to meet daily schedules and quality requirements. Operate tools and equipment (including a power industrial hand truck), monitor for malfunctions, perform routine maintenance, and adapt to changes.
